Founded in May 1982 in Beatrice, Nebraska, Exmark® Manufacturing began as an independent maker of professional turf care equipment, starting with just seven employees in a small garage.

1983

In 1983, Exmark moved to its current home in the Gage County Industrial Park, initially producing mid-size walk-behind mowers and turf rakes.

1987

By 1987, responding to a booming market, Exmark expanded into commercial riding mowers.

1995
